On October 8th 1953 The Japanese sent a probe, known only as ‘X’ into space. The technology used was so advanced for the world at that time, that the entire project had to be kept highly secret until recent years. No known photos of the probe exist and the few who partook in the project are now deceased, all died in unusual circumstances.
The blackness in the centre is believed to be the eye of the Big Bang, with everything expanding outwards from that point. The whereabouts of our own Solar System, or even the Milky Way is not known.
Experts are baffled by the small speck on the right hand side of the photo. The only thing they know is that whatever the speck is, it’s only a few hundred miles away from the probe and is hurtling towards the probe at a great speed.
This photo was received by the Japanese in May of 2010. It is the last and only image the probe sent back from it’s lonely mission as it ’left the universe.’
